You can use custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css to decrease or remove the default bottom padding – http://screencast.com/t/KaswdvYG1

padding-bottom: 0;
}
There is a section in Theme Panel > Theme Fonts where you can set the font on specific module – http://screencast.com/t/MEKKoGy9

This can be done very easy by selecting the default page template and add a block with infinite load as your latest articles block. You can see an example of it here: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/homepage-infinite-scroll/
