tagDiv Social Counter facebook issue

Hi guys,

On my website facebook counter always is 0. I have more than 7k followers.

Please advice how to solve that.

Please make sure that you’re using the latest version of Social Counter plugin, V3.1 included in theme path, and also make sure that you set the plugin according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial/

I’ve been battling this problem all day with the social counter widget added via JS composer on my homepage………… It wasn’t until I added the facebook details into a widget to be used in another page sidebar that the facebook details magically started working in both widgets.

Maybe it was a coincidence? But I’m relived it’s working 🙂

After I updated the plugin it still doesn’t work. Please give me some other suggestion.

I know you probably already tried but did you clear all of your caches?

Failing that…
Open the widget
Delete the facebook security key only (use right click and cut)
Save the widget settings
Save the page
Go back to the widget
Re add the security key (right click paste)
Re generate the facebook access token
Re save the widget
Re save page and check to see if that works

Hello, I have the same problem. Social Counter doesn’t show me Facebook count even after updating it to version 3.1. I have also added App ID, security key and generated access token. Am I missing something?
