RevSlider plugin update

I just want to know what could go wrong if I don’t update the RevSlider plugin to its latest version whenever you attach it with Newspaper’s new version. The plugin grows bigger and bigger, and I am not sure how badly it affects the website performance even if I don’t use whole lot of features, so I would like to not update it. What do you advise? Thanks. You guys are doing great I must say :-).

I think you can keep using old one unless there is a security patch or other issue (which VC has had on at least 3 notable occassions). I’m using an older version here 🙂
