Different Menu Depending on Page?

Hi, I’m wondering if there’s a way to show a different Nav menu depending on the page we’re on? (And not just “pages”, but “pages” which are based on a category, a tag, or the events page (where “The Events Calendar” lives) … we basically want to have two different sites which share the same calendar and a few other pages, and we can do that if they’re all actually part of the same site, but each with different nav etc …

I’m pretty new to this … not really any experience with updating the pHp etc … I prefer plugins, but the one I found didn’t seem to work on my site.

Thank you!

Hello,
Unfortunately this can only be done by hard-coding it. There is another solution if you want, you can have 2 versions of the site by creating a sub-domain. These are basically 2 sites that have the theme installed and you simply redirect links between them. It will not be so easy to do though.
You can search for different plugins that can change the menu.
The coding method is far more complicated as it will involve hard-coding the option. You can follow this topic to see how registering a new menu can be done: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/conditional-logic-for-menu/ This is for having different menus for different users. However it will not be so easy to adapt it to your preference so I suggest you hire someone to help out in this case.
Thank you!
