Our website – featuring.dk – is overall responsive, but some of the images transgress the limits of smaller screens, and sometimes the text directly below the problematic images does the same as well – image/text just keeps going beyond the edges of the screen, and the viewer can do nothing to view the text that’s outside of the screen.

What is causing it and how can we fix it?

It seems that for some reason some of your images lose their responsiveness. Is there anything different to these images than the ones that work? Do they have a different implementation?.
If you use image plugins, please try to remove them (If you use photon of jetpack, it is known to cause issues)
Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it and check your images again.
