Mega menu not working

Hi Team

I tried to set up mega menu on my website http://www.nextarrival.com I am facing lot of problems after that. Previously everythng was working fine. But when i tried to set up mega menu my website got slow and the mega menu was not working either. Then i removed mega menu settings but still the website is not working as before. Kindly help.

Even the categories are not showing up.

Hello,
It seems that you have not created the mega-menu properly. That is why it breaks. You will have to remove the sub-categories in the menu element before making it a mega menu. You simply add the parent category and select the mega-menu option;. The theme will grab the subcats automatically.

So do i need to remove the sub categories and create them again.

I did not apply mega menu while creating the menu. how can i do it now. I have already read the the article you have shared for creating mega menu.

Plz tell me the steps from here on. Shall i remove the categories and create again ??

Hi,
you need to only add the main elements of your menu. The ones that will be visible on the first view. Then you can decide if you want to ad a simple sub-menu or a mega-menu. If you want to add a simple sub-menu with a simple dropdown of the sub-categories, then you need to add sub-categories under the main element.
If you want the menu item to be a mega-menu, then simply select the mega-menu option for it like so:

One last question

I have created the present menu in the name “main menu” do i need to create a separate menu for mega menu or do i need to make changes in the present “main menu”

Right now what i have done is created the “main menu” then created the sub categories for respective parent category. Later on made the parent category as mega menu.(where did i go wrong)
