Having a problem with Newsmag where if a user logs in using the theme default login at the top of the page and is then logged in but then wants to make a new post, they are redirected to the wp-login screen and forced to log in again. Anybody encountered this? Know how to fix?
This is most commonly due to having your admin folder password protected.
Or some caching setting interfering with the first login attempt.
Or, you have a redirect – where site is setup as www, but links are without www; or https, where link is http, and the redirect is causing a second login for cookie, since cookie domain might be “out of sync.”
Not theme specific, in other words.

Pretty sure I’ve been through this same issue on other sites a couple times. Funny thing is, you remembered. I did not. I really need to keep better development notes.
