Hi,
First of all I would like to pinpoint the very excellent quality of Newspaper.
I would like to make a suggestion if I may.
It would be very cool if a background can be set for each post in future versions of Newspaper.

Hello,
At the moment the closest option is you can set the background to a specific category so every post from that category will get the background from it. I will add your suggestion to our update list and maybe in a future version we will be able to provide such an option.
