I really have hard time figuring out with what logic smart sidebars work. I have enabled them in the theme panel but some of them seem to work and some don’t. Do they work within a single row / column or page wide? Why some elements on the side bars stop scrolling up and some don’t? What determines their behavior? I think I am not getting the concept clear.

To achieve better results with this kind of smart feature, please ensure you have enough content on your page to scroll this on your page, otherwise, the sidebar will not move. Also, please make sure you have followed all the steps that are presented in our tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/ and you should try to watch this video tutorial here -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J5s-_PZufsE because makes you understand better the Smart Sidebar functionalities…as you can see, is the same sidebar for our both theme’s, Newsmag and Newspaper.

Thanks Catalin. I think I have figured out the reason. Correct me if I am wrong. What I find in your demo files, you have placed widgets at the bottom of the sidebars and the smart function works only with what we place using widgets function, not with other elements placed using page builder in the third column where sidebars usually sit. Is it? I will refer to the links you sent.

You can use the smart sidebar with any element you want but very important is not omit to put on the general row the special class -> td-ss-row as you can see in our documentation.
