How can I use ‘Style 8’ with a different background image to the featured image?
I want to have the post have Style 8, with an opaque top square, organised by category, and the background be the default picture from the category section of theme options. The post will have an image in the article and that same image as the featured image,to be shown on the website in thumbnails, and on social media if the article is shared.
At the moment I can have the featured image do all this, but it also shows up as the background image on the post. Can this be changed somehow? I want the default theme for that category to be a background, with a different featured image and post image.

Unfortunately, our theme does not have such a simple option for your request, sorry! For achieving that is required custom work and only from the code. Please notice that is not a simple task and it is necessary to have a solid knowledge for hard-coding in PHP/HTML/CSS. If you want to display more levels in our theme and you are not aware the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to do this for you because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!

Oh, thats disappointing. I have articles that would need the featured image to be selected to show on the thumbnails globally on the site, and on social media, but I would like the background to just show the default template background for the category. Is there no option to make the background just ignore the featured image? Would it not be an image request that would need to be changed only?

Please notice that you want to achieve is require custom services. It is not a simple task to obtain as you wish because is needed to do some additional customizations for a lot of parameters and also require a lot of time for this Also, please keep in mind that we have a big list of fixes, improvements and suggestions to implement. It’s hard to filter them and select which one gets implemented now and which one gets postponed and we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry!
