I’m using block 16 and block 4 on my homepage. I have all the excerpt settings set to standard. Every once in a while (I haven’t posted that much yet, still testing) I make a post and for some reason the excerpt is too long. Examples are my post from the 1st of March and the 19th of February > http://tinyurl.com/jaeugf5
I don’t understand why. I have played around with the excerpt length, but these posts always have a longer excerpt compared to the other posts. How is this possible? I don’t have a custom excerpt set.

The excerpt feature of the theme gets overwritten if the post has a custom excerpt added in post settings http://screencast.com/t/9BiejDCZtOj Please check this section for the posts that have a longer exceprt than the others.
Plugins can also cause issues with excerpts so please also try to disable all your plugins except visual composer and clear cache.

I disabled all plugins but the Visual Composer, I triple checked if there is a custom excerpt in any of the two posts. Still the same problem.
