breadcrumb for page does not show parent page

I would like to get breadcrumb for page to show parent page as well.

Currently, it is showing: home > subpage and not showing the parent page.

I tried looking at the code for td_page_generator::get_page_breadcrumbs(get_the_title()); and it appears to be doing just that — not showing the parent page.

Is there a way around this?

this is not a high priority task, and fixing the theme compatibility with wordpres 3.9 is taking to much time.
