update php to 5.3

Is there any problem with updating php to version 5.3?

Not over here. In fact, most servers are prepping for upgrade to PHP 7 which is MUCH faster for WordPress.

Hi

We recommend PHP 5.4 or greater for best performance, however we still can’t recommend PHP 7 as we didn’t tested the theme with it yet and might be some elements that will not work anymore as code gets deprecated in newer versions. I’m not saying this is the case, but there could be compatibility issues.
