I’d like to use the native WP Gallery to make a slideshow in my Newpaper theme site. I will have user generated content that will be uploaded to a particular page, so I want those photos attached to that page to be automatically used in a slideshow. I tried the Visual Composer’s slideshow and carousel elements, but they ask me to select photos and I want it to automatically use all the photos connected with this particular page. I activated Jetpack, and it has a carousel that is supposed to do this, unless your theme doesn’t allow it or overrides it in someway. The Jetpack carousel is not working either. How can I accomplish this?

Jetpack plugins are recommended for Tiled Gallery and the Carousel so if you don’t use this features I suggest to not use it – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-a-gallery/ Also the theme is already responsive so the feature mobile theme from jetpack need to be disabled: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-manage-the-mobile-theme/ This plugin has a lot of features but also it affect the speed of your site.
The jetpack photon feature can cause some issues and while the theme works based on the same system – creates and serves/uses thumbnails for each uploaded image. We have some reports that the jetpack photon feature caused some issues also on Newsmag when used with the theme or other plugins.
If you want to display more levels in our theme and you want to develop this kind of plugin to works fine with our theme and you are not aware the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to do this for you because we cannot provide custom services at the moment, sorry! Or, you can try to find another plugin with this functionality and see how it works for you.
