i’m using the newspaper theme for about a month. I noticed that since i installed it i managed to make only one conversion using affiliate mk. Before installation i had about 26 conversions a month.
I checked the links and all are working fine, i can see statistics (clicks) on the links using the affiliate interface, but on conversions.
Do you know what is the problem and how can i fix it?
I started to think that is a problem with the cookie or something, because i have clicks but no conversions.
Pls help me to solve this asap.

this is the affiliate mk site i’m using: profitshare.ro
most probably the single conversion from this month was made with the cookie saved/generated before changing the theme.
Theme shouldn’t have any impact on that.
the last conversion received was on 18 feb, on this date i changed the theme, is the best coincidence or a problem somewhere.

It actually could be the theme, but not directly but due to a plugin conflict. I assume you are using this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-profitshare/ as the site suggests http://screencast.com/t/lqVrX2zUIIUL
Please keep in mind that not all plugins work with premium themes and the plugin you are using is not tested with our theme. We cannot say for sure if it will work properly or not. Unfortunately we cannot offer any support for plugin implementation so you will have to get some help on this one to check if your plugin works properly with the theme.

yesterday I added the JS from profitshare to see if is any difference.

i don’t want to use the JS, i added it to the site just to test things out.
So all the link from Affiliate marketing are like this:
a href=”//profitshare.ro/l/2317408″ target=”_blank”>emag.ro</a
and that’s it, no other plugins or JS.

In this case if there is no plugin or no js that can interfere with the theme code, the only thing left to do is contact the profitshare guys and ask them why your links are not getting the required conversions. Maybe they can provide a clue of why this is happening and shed light on the subject. It’s their service after all…

I noticed now that on the second affiliate mk campaign i have the same problem.
i will contact profitshare but i don’t think i will get any help from them, clearly is a problem with the theme.
