Plz is there a way i can make the top horizantal menu to be displayed as vertical menu on the left hand

Unfortunately the theme has no such option. You can try to do a workaround by adding the menu in a custom menu WP widget and add a left sidebar, but it will only be a simple menu, no mega-menu or dropdown: http://screencast.com/t/eeWBb6Lv4a
You could as an alternative search for a plugin that has such an option.

that menu was destined for the demo purposes only so you can switch the style of the theme. It can be activated though but there will be no settings for it so all modifications to this menu will have to be done by hard-coding and it will not be covered by support. You can activate the menu like so:
