Thanks for the reply, I have managed to fix the above issues, but there is just one more issue I am having.

How do I get the old header style back with full size logo aligned to the left and menu directly below aligned to the left?

I can get the menu aligned to the left but the logo is small, how do I increase the size and also align the header advert to the right side?

I tested with one of the posts and made the image 2000×1500 but it stays the same with the gradient.

None of the rest work – the first style is the one I need with the advert part, but the logo needs to be bigger. how do I adjust this as making the change to logo size on the “header-style1.php” doesnt make any difference.

Referring to point 1 – the gap I am referring to is, I want the logo height to be bigger – it seems to shrink when I choose the one with advert (style 3) how do I increase the height of the header logo.

I have just re-installed wordpress. Same thing comes up again.
I activated the Twenty Fourteen theme and the problem didn’t happen.
I re-activated newsmagazine theme and the problem started happening again.
I also de-activated W3 Total Cache settings and re-enabled, tried enabling minify aswell to check and warnings flashing up saying minify is infected to.

I ran securi scans, exploit scanner and all coming back with no problems found.

I already have W3 Total Cache enabled, but I had to switch of minify as the front end of the site just becomes a blank white page when enabled.

I also have force gzip plugin installed in wordpress which worked great in the past for my compression.

Page Rank is saying I need to lower the size of css, but I dont really want to tinker with it.
