Hey yoluca,

I don’t think Radu’s answer deserves to be called “rubish”. I think the guys doing an excellent job, more than they need to do. A bit more respect wouldn’t harm.

Hi guys,

I don’t want to hussle you but I still need to know if you’re planning short term to fix the filter problem (by tag and category) with the custom post types in Events Manager plugin in your blocks? If not I have to change theme but I really don’t want to, because everything else fits for me, theme is absolutely great and your support is amazing.

Hello Radu,

Thanks for the quick reply.

Tried this already – but no success with filtering.

It pulls the event post type (your number 2.) but I can’t filter event category or event tag slug (your number 1.).

Thanks for the quick reply.

I tried your suggestion, but no luck.
I’m using Events Manager plugin. I have a category “Musik” with the ID fo 6. I have a tag slug “musik” and the name of my CPT is “event”.

Please tell me where to put what to make it work. I think I’m lost. Cheers.

I can filter by tag, but with categories I can’t filter yet (Verison 1.7.1)

When I go to “Edit Block” I can only see “Category filter” with the categories from the normal wp posts. Where do I put the categories to filter?

Additionally to the things mibrahim_folio3 said, it would be nice to have the “Category filter” and the “Filter by tag slug” as well for the CPTs.

I pull events from Events Calendar plugin. Events are in diferent categories like music, theatre etc. And only the events with the slug for example “featured” should show up in blocks.

Any thoughts would be highly appreciated.

 

I have to say it again, you guys do an amazing job, on theme and support. Excellent!!
