I also want to make a question: is it possible to edit the category of slides shown (top grid 3) in the mobile theme? Because the filter for featured posts doesn’t work… I’m disabling the mobile theme plugin to prevent users reports.

P.S: There’s also a minor issue with the social counter’s widget, the header color doesn’t work.

I’m having the same issue, already tried to fix it by following your steps, nothing has changed.
