Hello,

I understand what you have mentioned. My point is this:

1. I have a main category named Articles.
2. I have sub categories for Articles namely News, Essays, Facts etc.
3. For a post I have selected News and Essays but not selected ‘Articles’ directly. (Both News and Essays are sub categories of ‘Article’)
4. Now the post is showing all three categories, Articles, News and Essays.
5. But I want to show only subcategories News and Articles. (I don’t want to show the main category, which I never selected directly)

Any hope?

Please find the attached image. Categories shown in red circles are main categories. I don’t want to display the main categories on posts.

Hello Bogdan,

I have created two main categories Articles and Subjects. Then I have have created sub categories under main categories.
Now, my problem is when I select a sub category for the post, the main category also got listed in category spot. Is there any way I can hide the main categories from displaying?

May be the problem is with the type of account. My YouTube channel is not linked to a personal account but to a Google Plus page. Anyway thank you for the wonderful support!

I tried with ‘tagdiv’ and it works. Tried another random channel and that too worked.
Then I used my channel ID ‘channel/UCMzmTt3octKTMKazOqv3aGQ’ and it worked.
But unique name is not working.
