Hello! ?
I had been trying to make the images progressive. I upload progressive images on my site but still it becomes non-progressive. Then I tried WPSmush.it, it could also not make them progressive and EWWW Image optimizer also didn’t do it.
Anthing else I can do?
Almost every one here have deactivated these two plugins. π
Cool, thanks π
Thanks for the quick reply.
I tried using the visual composer but that’s not what I want.
I mean is it possible to show a block of latest posts with ajax after everything on posts page? Even after comments? Just before the footer widgets start.

Total cache does all about browser cache.
Great dude, all the best for your website!
I don’t combine images using css sprites, they are as they were by default. Cloudflare is great, for now I’m using it anyway but I’ve planned to buy cdn and ssl cert, once I start earning. π
And I and you have kinda same type of website. My 21 days old and yours?
Lets compete in that (if you can help me in seo) π
You’re welcome and Congrats, I’m happy you did it π
I have a few questions again.
How did you removed render blocking css warning?
How did you optimize images?
And obviouly, how did you minify things?
I want to take from 97 to 98 or 99 π
I think you’re not using total cache correctly.
I don’t minify anything with it. Turn minify off and use wp-html compression to minify html. It changes some url pattern and probable the warning with http://fonts.googleapis.com/β¦7CRoboto+Condensed%3A400%2C700&ver=3.9.2 will go.
After that just optimize the images, and done!
May i see your htaccess?
May I guess? π
“Salut” means “Hi” ?? π
Didn’t understand anything!
Yeah I would love to see you at 97 or more. π
Although I’m still optimizing, I’ll let you know about anything new I do.
I’m kinda poor in getting traffic and seo, are you gonna teach me? Lets see here: http://twitter.com/sstheshashank
I don’t have any screenshot sharing website account. I’ll upload them on wordpress so save it as soon as you can, I’ll delete them.

Screenshot? Here’s every thing!
and I use ithemes security to tweak some of wordpress.
1. use google for js, defer load js, async css and minify
2. The plugin is very big, I’ve configured every part of it with time. I need to know your settings to say what lacks in there. π
3. Before you upload images to wordpress, open that image in photoshop. Press alt+F There is an option “save for web”. Adjust your settings there.
then in the speed booster pack plugin there in default wordpress image compression level, set it to a lower value like 60 and regenerate images.
4. I can see yout html is minified but there are no minified css and js. I minify these files myself and upload them back to server. I don’t use total cache for it.
Here are my answers:
1. I use the default newspaper speed booster + speed booster pack plugin.
2. same
3. I use photoshop to “save images for web” before uploading and then make wordpress default from 90 to 60
4. How do you minify, compress and combine html, css and js?
Yeah sure mehedi, I’ll be happy to help and once I disable adsense ads the score becomes 99!
Please answer these questions. π
How are you eliminating render blocking js and css?
How are you caching?
Are you optimizing images?
How do you compress?
I agree Chris.
Yesterday I tried serving images from three and two subdomains, I could not see any major speed improvement but the warning “use more hostnames to parallelize downloads” went away.
Upload high resolution images then!
Currently I use one subdomain for images, There are 60 images, will using more subdomains be much beneficial?
Saying thanks costs nothing but will obviously make you feel good for your help. So Thanks!!
Chris there are many people who care and I’m the one, in case you search it π
You’re somewhat satisfactory Chris!
One more problem that I face for iages is the number of downloads. Since I’ve designed kinda homepage that there are almost 60 images. How can I divide them under different hostnames?
Agree, Chris. One thing that I still lack is combine css and js files… Still not found something that won’t break the site π
Logged in subscribers do indeed have access to the Jetpack menu. That will allow them to connect to their WordPress.com account and enable the Toolbar notifications.
Rest assured, they won’t be able to change your Jetpack settings from there.
If you really want to hide the Jetpack menu from non-admins on your site, you can install this small plugin: http://i.wpne.ws/MBdD
The jetpack plugin author says this .
Great theme + great suggestions + some smart work = My score is 97 π
