Most of the time I want the featured image at the top of the post, but for some instances I dont, but I still need the featured imaged for the thumbnails and sliders on the homepage.
Is there a way to disable the featured image on individual posts?
Regards
Richard
Hi,
Yes, edit a post and choose Gallery as post format http://screencast.com/t/0ADtO4MzV
Thanks!
Hello lukehodge,
There is no automatic option to do this but you can achieve this only if you will use a bit of custom CSS code to do this, using the post ID. Please provide your website URL and some useful screenshots to show us from where exactly you want to remove the featured image.
Thanks for the message!
Thanks Catalin the URL is https://seemslegit.com.au/
And an example screenshot is at: http://www.screencast.com/t/sgAkbey6S7db
There it’s showing both the feature image (which I’d like not to be displayed) and the other version of the image I wanted to have at the top of the article.
I’ll want to do this on several posts, so if it’s possible to send me custom CSS code for this where I can just change the post ID to use it on other posts, that would be great.
Hello lukehodge,
I have inspected your website and I saw that for some posts you are using the same image with the featured image to be placed at the top of your post, right? So, please notice that all of the post templates will display the featured image at the top of the post page, except Post Template Style 5 which does not display it. I’ll recommend you to use this Post Template because you will bring good theme results. For more information about this case, please check the following useful guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/post-templates-2/
Thanks for your understanding!
