If you say it works without plugins, then maybe you have a plugin conflict. Please try to identify the plugin that causes this issue and remove/replace it. Unfortunately I’m not sure what alternative you are looking for. The demos can be installed from the theme panel. There is no other place to install them from and no other means.

Hi Bogden we had to get Godaddy support to temporarily disable .htacess and the plugins to do a single install. This is being installed in a fresh install of WP with no other plugins. Godaddy advised that we contact you and as it will be an issue with the template that would be causing the installation issue/conflict of the demo’s.

Unfortunately this error could come from a big number of problems. I believe it happens due to a server configuration which is not responding, it could be due to a delay or it could also be a temporary issue so you can try this a few times and if you still get this error please contact your host provider and let him know about this, ask them to unblock our demo in order to retrieve the theme data. It could also happen due to your wp install or other plugins might also cause this. Also make sure that your permission for the upload folder are set correct. You can check this by trying to upload an image in media library. If the process succeeds then the permission are ok. If not you can use the c-panel to change permissions (set them to 777) or if you do not have access to the cpanel, please contact your hosting provider.
