Css Changes

Hi,

After purchasing the theme we have made some changes to CSS, recently we updated the theme using envato tool kit plugin and then we have copied our old CSS file and replaced it with the current one. Then clicked back Envato tool kit plugin to check whether the theme got updated or not. Surprisingly, the theme hasn’t updated, again we have updated the theme and copied our old theme and this time we have changed the Theme version in CSS to ‘6.7.1’ it worked fine. But what ever the changes we have done to CSS earlier are not applying to theme, when we check in CSS its all fine and looks like our old css file only, but the CSS changes which we made are not fixed.
what should we do to get our customized CSS?

Thanks

Hello gauravkohli,

Unfortunately, your steps are not ok. First of all, please try to make a clean install, without any copies and replacements of style.css. For more information about how to update your theme, please check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ and then, after you have the latest version of the theme you have to check your old CSS in Theme panel->Cusotm CSS area and see if this will apply to your new version if this is valid. If your custom CSS is valid and are applied to the latest version you leave on Theme panel->Custom CSS box or you can move the code in the bottom of the file in style.css.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for the message!
