My name is Marko and recently i have been learning how to create sites using wordpress. I really liked the newsmag theme so I bought it. Before creating my real site I am trying to learn the theme by creating a fake “tech blog” with just few fake articles so I know how it all works.

I have a few problems, It seems like the changes that I make just dont work, I want for the first articles be listed in grid 4 with grid 6 – simple colors, It says that in categories menu and it saved, but it just doesnt change. Also i want the Articles to be listed in M10 view type, but it also doesnt change.
Also I can find a way to remove the “Accessories” thing and the “windows phone” on the side.
Also I dont know what created that grid on the bottom, and how to edit it.

Also I have a problem with the pictures that I upload, they are never as sharp as their stock photos, but they are normal resolution and sharp on my laptop.

I am not very sure at what you’re referring in your second topic so please provide more specific details so I can get back to you with a more accurate answer.

These: http://imgur.com/Xps0No7 are block’s titles and can be removed from Visual Composer, just edit the block and delete its tite: http://screencast.com/t/c6n7YPAxM9pK
The options from this screen http://imgur.com/G49hG0M refers at categorizes pages, for example this one: http://www.techvitae.com/category/uncategorized/ In this screen http://imgur.com/IBOj8Bn you’re on a static page, not a category page. Static pages can be customized using Visual Composer page-builder: http://screencast.com/t/XoLoKDGlp
