Setting background color sets boxed mode

Hi Guys.

You’re probably already aware of this, but if you change the background color (Theme Colors -> GENERAL theme colours) the site is forced in boxed mode (td-boxed-layout). Even though you’re _not_ using backgrounds. Also there is no option to set the body-color (100% white is really annoying for the dark skin).

Hi,
We are aware of this and we try to make users aware of this as well: https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-colors-introduction/ (note at the bottom of the article)
The black version does not require a white background though. If you install the demo and leave it to default, you will see that the header and footer are full width and not boxed: http://screencast.com/t/BzhxghiHdA
You can see this on our live demo as well: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_black/
So there is no need to worry about a white background on the black demo.

Hi Bogdan.

My point is that you’ll have to change the body color in css and not via the theme color settings.

Hi,
If you do not want to have the boxed version, you cannot add a background to your site, except for the whole thing. There will not be 2 colors on your homepage as there will be only 1 container. The background color adds another container to the site a td-outer-wrap that will not be there if no color or image is set in the theme panel, so there can only be one background across the whole content: http://screencast.com/t/EO3LQxWBGGzZ
