I am new here and just bought the Newspaper theme 7:)
I would like to know if I need to deactivate all the plugins of my actual theme before I switch to Newspaper?

Yes, before you update your theme, you have to disable all your plugins, remove your old theme and install the new update only through FTP because this is the surest way in this case. Sorry, but this is not an update, it’s changing from the 7 theme to the Newspaper theme.
I have uploaded the Newspaper via WordPress but I still didn’t switch to the new one.

Sorry for my misunderstanding. We recommend to disable all of them and then install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme to rule out the conflicting plugins. Also, for Newspaper 7 the plugins version are -> Social Counter 4.0, Visual Composer 4.11.2, WordPress 4.5.2.
