Hi,
I’d like to combine the elements I like from the various demos. How can I mix and match the various elements that I like to build a home page, page, or post template?
For example, I like the “td-grid-style-1” of the Newmag Default Demo but want to modify the Default home page to include the “td-pb-span8 td-main-content” style list of articles found in the Sports Demo Home page.
Would the modification need to occur in the child theme’s css file or rather one of the theme’s php files?

You can use page-builder+latest to build your page. In Visual Composer add all desired elements like grids or blocks and at loop article part set the desired module to display latest article part: http://screencast.com/t/jTGnysihPz

I’ve recently had a similar question.
I want to start with one demo theme, and then apply aspects of other demo themes to it. I’m starting to get the feeling that this is not possible.
I was also thinking today as I researched this that it would be great if TagDiv could put together a range of short videos to explain how certain aspects of the demos were put together.
i.e. What was the process to get a select feature to look the way it does, such as the red solid backgrounds on the Block Titles in the Medicine demo.

Each demo have its own style and to combine theme in most cases you’ll need a bit of custom css.
