Please notice that the Description appears only for images which are set to the Attachment page, otherwise, this element will not appear and therefore, the description will never appear nor in smart list. So I don’t mean the meta description of the image attachment. I mean the actual written text that comes after the image on a smarlist

If you attempt to add a caption for the image (going into media attachement, adding a caption), the description of the list element disappears.
I believe the bug is reproducable on your demo. Just go into this post http://screencast.com/t/yJY2oK61IqD , for the image of Emanuela De Paula, click edit on the visual editor, add in anything in the caption area

now save the post/publish and you will see that the description of that list element that used to be there “Too much work. Let’s burn it…” is gone

I’ve checked this on my end but couldn’t duplicate the issue.
