Hello,
i see that when we use caching plugin, the view is not getting update, this is due to the calculation is happen on pageview basis..
i’m thinking to use WP-Ajax to send the page ID to a page (which not cached) in order to grab the pageview..
can you give me a clue of which script that handles the view calculation which field did it use to store ?

Our theme already provides a solution for this problem called the ajax post views. Please activate this option: http://screencast.com/t/zp6U1aqQ
Also for the 7 days post sorting make sure you have the option enabled from the theme panel shown here:
