Please notice that we have 2 themes -> Newspaper and Newsmag. I suppose that you have purchased the Newspaper instead of Newsmag or do you want to have the News Magazine layout demo from Newspaper? So If I already have the default demo installed and want to change to the news magazine design instead. Will it affect my existing content?
I tried to add template in page but cannot find it. So if I install demo on a site full of content, select only settings, will it work?

Do you use the demo default with content or without it? So, if you are using this with content and if you edit it with your, when you switch with another demo, all the data will be lost. If you create your own content, all of this will be loaded into the database and when you will have another demo all your content will be displayed there.

Not sure I understand.
I have been running my website for about 6 months with your theme. Started with default demo content, then imported my old content and deleted the demo content. I have a lot of own content on the site now going back three years.
I would like to change to the News Magazine layout and style. Can I do it without losing all my content?
I noticed this in the system stats:

Installed demo i Default Demo – demo ID: default | install type: no_content

According to system status dates you have installed the default demo without content. To implement the layout from another demo just install it without content as you made with default demo: http://screencast.com/t/86iEseM8Oue This option will import only the demo’s settings without its content and also your own con’tent won’t be affected.
Before making any changes in site’s layout make sure you do a full backup to your current wp-install and to database also: https://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups This is a security measure and in case something goes wrong you can always get back to previous version.

If you import the demo without content, you will have to re-create the layout as you will only import the visual cstyle, not the page structure. If the page is what you are looking for, here is the code for it: http://pastebin.com/tYRXGaCS copy and paste the code on a page in classic mode and text mode.
