I’ve configured the plugin according the documentation and clear all caches but nothing happen. The facebook counter shows always 0 Fans. Twitter and Google+ works and shows the correct number of follower. The number version is 4.1

I have the same problem… Instagram, Google+, Youtube and Twitter are OK, but the facebook counter doesn´t work!
I’ve set the plugin on facebook developers exactly in the same way of the documentation.

Please try this:
“It seems that the theme cannot connect to Facebook API because port 443 is blocked. Please check in C-panel, on your server, if you have a firewall which blocks external connection and try to set an exception for port 443.
You can also contact the host provider and let him know about this, he should be able to provide a more accurate answer.”

I cannot get FB counts to appear. Twitter works fine.
I’ve gone through every single thread, and read EVERY single link. I’ve done everything. Even installed Facebook Analytics on my site. App ID, Key, Token, everything. Scraped, Debugged, Erased Cache, Rinsed, Repeated.
STILL. Nothing.
I’m at the point of just removing the FB thing “Fans” thing all together.

I’m having this issue as well. Is this due to the fact that Facebook is limiting its API access?
It is due to recent FB changes that affected some app keys. Please try to generate a new app key and make sure it’s validated by FB.

Still no joy for me on either Facebook or Instagram. I created a new “app” for Facebook, created a new app key, security key and access token, but the counter stills display as 0. Twitter works fine.

The one remaining broken counter is Facebook. It looks like the issue is on Facebook’s side and is an ongoing problem: https://developers.facebook.com/status/issues/205942813488872
Do we simply have to wait for this to be resolved before fixing this counter?

Hello,
You can remove it if you want. Please edit your page and delete the element or simply remove FB from it until it is solved. You can also check the widgets area if it;s added as a sidebar widget.
