I’m working in a website puerta19.com, and have an issue when I tried to use the Social Counter (homepage, side bar).
I did it following the tutorial (https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/) but I can’t get the actual fans from FB.
Could you help us?

I’m having trouble as well with this issue. Both instagram and twitter work fine however facebook is providing trouble and displaying 0 likes. I changed the facebook id to cocacola and it worked however when I changed it back to wuvanews it failed to work. I have liked this page along with 500 others so it should be displaying a number.
We would also like some help.

The social counter is not a live count and is affected by cache. It will make a few requests a day and it will wait for cache to be cleared. Now it is working on your site: http://screencast.com/t/91NAszfpyo

Please provide a link to your site and your fb page. There are pages that require a custom implementation in the counter (the numbered page id’s are a bit tricky as you have to enter just the number in the social counter)

Thank you for explaining how it works. Upon checking today I discovered that it is now working. I assuming, like you said, it just needed to be cached.

I am having the same issue of showing zero Facebook page likes whereas my page likes are 100k+.

I have already kept patience and wait for 3 days before writing this message if it is anything related to cookies or rendering page likes. But it seems, it is different from common issues.

If the social counter does not show any likes or followers here are the steps you need to take:
1. Please make sure the theme and the plugin are up to date. Update your theme to the latest version by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
And then update the social counter plugin by disabling your current one and deleting files from the plugins section of wp. Then install the social counter version that comes with the latest theme version from here:

2. After everything is up to date, you need to follow this guide very carefully: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial/
3. After you set everything according to the guide, please clear all caches and reset cdn files if you use it. Also allow it a bit of time as it;s not a live count and is affected by cachee.
If the counter still does not work, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin and a link to your site so we can investigate.
