WordPress just told me that “there is a new version of WPBakery Visual Composer available (version 4.12.1)”.
My question is that is this version of VC compatible with the current version of Newpaper(7.3)?
Should I update this plugin?

you cannot update the plugin unless we provide the update along with the theme. We will update visual composer in the next theme update.
