Post Views Counter Not Updating

After I updated to 3.8.2 it doesn’t update the “post views”. I made sure it’s turned on in the panel but on the actual site the number stays at “0” next to the little eye symbol.

you have the option to go back to the privies version.
might be a problem related to a cache plugin. please disable all plugins and try again.

if you are using W3 Total Cache be sure to remove it completely, as we had situation where we disable it and it was still active.

I don’t have W3 Total Cache installed. So should I just go back to an earlier version?
