Yeah i found the option and turned off date but goole still showing the dtaes.As our site has loads of evergreen contents we need to hide the date from search engine also.Please guide me

I am trying the first one.The Second one will not work with the theme i have tried that method.That gives an error.It shows all article’s dates 1/1/1970
I followed the first guide you mentioned and removed the get_date code from the single loop .php.But most of loop-single.php don’t have the code only loop-single.php, loop-single-1.php, loop-single-2.php contains that code.I have removed the code from them

I have removed that code from all loop and template.php but the dates are still showing on google search.
Well you will have to wait a bit as it is not an instant change. Google needs to crawl your site again, or
