Hi

The theme does not control information displayed by google in SERPS. You can try to use a plugin which controls meta info and we can recommend SEO By Yoast in this regard. Please follow this link for more details; https://yoast.com/snippet-preview/

Thanks!

Hi Andrei L,
I navigated to Yoast SEO -> Titles & Metas -> Post Types ->

selected Hide ( Date in Snippet Preview ) in both post and Pages.

However, still I can see date in Google Search results.

Please advice

Hi Andrei L,

1. go to google. Search ” rules and regulations of yoga ”
2. Check fitlogy.com at 5th position on the 1st page
3. you can see the dates ” Jun 16, 2016 “

Hi

Note that it may take a while until this change will be visible. Google need to crawl your site again and only after will remove the date from snippet.
Thanks!

Hi Andrel,

Do you mean I have to remove this phrases ” get_the_time”

Hello Fitlogy.com,

It is not a good idea to remove that function from td_module_single_base.php because you will bring some errors in Web Master Tools and it is not good. Please try to comment our the get_date() function from each loop-single.php according to your post template used by you. For example, if you are using the Port Template Style 1 you should edit the loop-single-1.php and comment the following snippet of the code, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/LdwGuuGW1vul

Hope this helps!

Thanks for your understanding!
