Thank you, Catalin.
See, the posts appearing on the top appear immediatly below 🙁
Hi,
The Mobile Theme plugin comes with it’s own layouts and the homepage layout is predefined. There are 2 sections: the Big Grid which displays the featured posts and Latest Articles which of course filter your latest articles. Unfortunately the is no unique articles option implemented for Mobile Theme. We consider to improve the Mobile Theme plugin for future and also some options, but please note that the purpose to create the plugin is to be a lighter theme.
If you want to have the same content like on desktop, please disable the Mobile Theme plugin and use the default responsiveness.
Thanks!
Hi,
When you publish or edit a post you can tag it to the Featured category – https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-posts-2/
Also to exclude the featured posts from the Latest Articles section using Mobile Theme, you could try to modify the code.
First please check your Featured category ID like this – http://screencast.com/t/vIZqeTxrR Usually the ID is 2 but it may differ.
Then access the theme via ftp and edit this file and add the following code – http://screencast.com/t/cziUEQMuV – http://pastebin.com/X8yv2VuV Don’t forget to change the id if it is necessary.
Unfortunately I cannot provide you an answer about the WP Touch Pro plugin as it is not tested with the theme so I cannot guarantee that it will work properly.
Thanks!
The mobile template looks awesome but not having the option to offset articles or enable unique articles option is for me a big negative. It shows in the example that nacionpix mentioned.
Reading the big grid 1st article then scrolling 2 articles further you see the same article again makes the mobile template not very usable which is sad because the template looks so great on my phone. Better than desktop version in my case.
Hope Tagdiv will come up with a solution.
Best template and support in the industry IMO.
Hi Alan!
It seems, this problem is still there, and I liked your souliton, but for me, it’s not the best, because I use Featured category for almost all of my posts. So I think I need an offset code line instead of excluding Featured articles. Can you help me, what should I write in this case?
Hi,
@adatkabel Indeed there were no changes to the functionality of the mobile theme plugin. The top grid will display posts included in the Featured category, the latest articles will display latest articles.
If the latest posts are also included in the featured category then they will appear in the top grid and the below latest section.
There are solutions to make modifications to this functionality if required
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-set-offset-post-for-latest-post-module-on-mobile-theme-plugin/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-featured-posts/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-theme-categories-are-the-same/
Thanks
I have tested the offset solution and it is working properly. In this example the latest published posts are also featured, they appear in both top grid and latest

Setting an offset of 3 posts as suggested, will offset the Latest articles section by 3 posts
– https://www.screencast.com/t/1dZGiBd3Wby5
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Ie0mSaPfIS
Now the latest articles will be offset by 3 posts, so this would be a solution in the matter. Please double check your modification to be valid and then clear all caching installed.
