I have two questions regarding this theme.
1) I put in block 16 in visual composer and in your screenshot example you emailed me it looks like this http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/block-16/. The problem with my Block 16 I put in has only the post thumbnail and post title. It has no date of post or excerpt at all. Why is this happening?
2) I want to update the theme but how do i do this? Will is disrupt the current settings I have in place right now with my theme?

Thank you for your interest in our theme! Please keep in mind that each block should have the excerpts and date of the posts. Try to check the theme panel settings, from here -> http://screencast.com/t/0xoF87EmEvS So, if you do not have the latest version of theme, you should update it via FTP because this is the surest and safe method in this regard. Before each update, you should make a full backup to your data to be safe and then, you simply install the new theme on your site, via FTP, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-install-via-ftp/

STILL SO MANY PROBLEMS!!!
I re installed the theme via cPanel. I checked everything outlined in the screencast and everything is on so it should have been working. I even tested it by turning the author, date and comments off for blocks. It worked as all the Blocks on my homepage no longer had an author, date or comments. I turned it back on and the rest of the blocks author, date and comments display again except Block 16. I did everything you said still doesn’t make it work.
I also realized another issue. I created custom widgets through visual composer. I went to Appearances/Widget and put tagdivs in my widgets. They worked. But after awhile they disAppear in the widgets area and the widgets are empty and the tagdivs disappear. I tried to refresh the widgets page on the dashboard and it still doesn’t appear its like it was removed on its own. I tried to go the actual page of the website with the widget and everything that was in the widget still appeared which I thought was strange.
Overall I’m very confused and honestly quite disappointed so far with this theme. This is supposed to be one of the most popular themes online and purchased it so I can get something that tried and tested so I wouldn’t have to go through this type of stuff. Please try to be thorough when responding to my problems cause its frustrating going back and forth. Thanks.

Please check your sidebars in the widgets area and see if there are elements present inside them. WordPress will strip the sidebars of elements if special characters or language specific characters are used in the sidebars. When you create your sidebar, please only use standard letters without symbols such as !@#$%^&*()_}{L{“:>< Let us know how it goes.
If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) so we can further inspect it closer your setup page. Also, provide there the link of this topic so we can quickly identify you.

I have inspected your website and I saw that your meta info are missed, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/aiEDY6F0 Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. I saw that you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core and cause a lot of unknown issues ->http://screencast.com/t/TmufsydZ.
