Title says it all, made my home page an actual page so it can easily be editable, but now since its a page, Home is now displayed, as well as the breadcrumb plugin saying Home > Home.
Simply put, what code do I need to remove this entire area from this page?

This also depends on the page title you type in for your page. If your page is named home it will show home->home
If your page is named page it will show heme->page

If I choose the default page template and add content to the page the page shows the title. How do I remove the automatic page title from a default template? Searched the forum and can’t find anything covering this problem.

You remove it by using visual composer. If visual composer is detected on a page then the title is removed.
You can use even a simple text box. Just make sure you press the add button and place the text box yourself as all the content existing on your page is already in an ad box. The theme needs to create an element from the list in order to remove the menu.
