My website is already having static page which is specially designed for desktop users and I am not using mobile theme plugin till now. But wondering if I can set a separate static page using mobile theme plugin. I read the mobile theme documentation but not seeing this feature, so please let me know if this is possible.

Maybe I am asking too much but it will be nice if we can set a separate page as static home for mobile or at least some options in setting for mobile to chose categories with some predefined layouts. I don’t want to sound like undermining the mobile theme but this is just not enough compare to awesome newspaper theme. I am sure many of the users are not using newspaper theme just for blog, this is why our expectation is beyond just latest post in mobile. Anyway can’t complain much because mobile theme is just addon to newspaper but what’s the point having that if not useful, something to think about and hope to see more improvement as you guys always do 🙂

Thank you for your suggestion. The mobile theme is still in it;a early stage though. It took newspaper years to come to it’s present shape and functionality. The mobile theme will also take a bit of time until it can appeal to a wider public. We are always trying to improve our theme as well as the plugins so i think in the future the mobile theme can become a very powerful tool.
