Actually update the theme

On 26th January 2017 I received an email of an update of Newspaper.
I wolud like how to actually update my theme on my website.

I have newspaper 7.3 now.

On the official TagDiv YouTube channel it’s a how-to video.

It’s actually pretty easy:
1. Make a backup just to be sure everything is fine.
2. Switch to another theme, like the default WordPress theme.
3. Delete the existing Newspaper theme.
4. Upload the new Newspaper.zip theme after you download it from ThemeForest.
5. Activate it and everything should be good to go.

Theme settings are kept as they were before.

Yes. The latest version as seen on ThemeForest is 7.6.1, released on January 26th, 2017.

Always, we recommend doing your theme update via FTP way because this is the surest method in this regard. For more references in this regard, please consult here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
