Hi,
For some reason, my facebook counter has stopped counting at 43847, even my actual Like number is approaching 70K soon. Any idea what has caused this issue?
Hi,
Please make sure you have configured the social counter according to this guide – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/ Also check if your Facebook page is not set to private. You can also try disabling all your plugins except the ones bundled with the theme, clear your cache and check again.
Thanks
Hi,
If you have a caching plugin installed, like WP Super Cache – https://www.screencast.com/t/Q7LoJXXwB you need to go in the plugin settings and delete the cache. This could solve the problem. Here is a guide to help you properly configure the cache – https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ Also check if any changes have been made to the Facebook page privacy settings, the page has to be public – https://www.screencast.com/t/mCLAcJ7U
Thanks
Hi,
The caching plugin options may not look the same, after each update some modifications have been made. Just delete the cache and follow the instructions provided above, then check the results. It should work properly if everything is in order, the social counter is configured correctly and your Facebook page is public, right now it is not.
Thanks
Hi,
I meant that your Facebook profile page has to be public, and that one does not have to be logged in a Facebook account in order to view the page – https://www.screencast.com/t/37SqCc6jRD as you can see in the demo – https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ if you click on the Facebook page in the social counter.
Thanks
Hi,
I see that you have managed to make your Facebook profile public – https://www.screencast.com/t/UQsFpqd159 Now you should try to do a cache clear. Please note that there may be some delay for the data to synchronize, so you should wait a while before it refreshes. The Facebook counter should work properly now. Also make sure you have the latest version of the social counter from the theme package, and update it if necessary.
Thanks
