With reference to the image and url of the website I am working on below, I want to check whether it is possible to have a slideshow in replace for the image of the post as shown in the example in Img. Also, it would be great to have the thumbnail as one of the image from the slideshow for this post, so it can be featured on other pages. Please advice on this for me to working on this better, hope to hear from you soon!

If I understand correctly you want to replace the featured image in the post page with a slideshow. Unfortunately there is no option for this, you can only set a single featured image or video – https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/ If you want to achieve something like that you would have to modify the theme files and make major changes to multiple elements, and this could prove to be a difficult task.
