I have another website using Visual Composer. I want o use it in another new web, I know I have to pay another license but when I try to install the plugin I see this error:
The plugin does not have a valid header.

Destination folder already exists. /app/public/wp-content/plugins/js_composer/
Plugin install failed.
I’m working on local. The website where I want to install it is gerardx.dev and it says that it was installed here already but it’s a new folder with a new name of website, then I don’t understand how can it be already existing.

Hi,
After you deactivate the Visual composer plugin you must also delete it and then upload the new version. Here is a tutorial about the update process – https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/
If it says that the folder already exists you must check in the wp-content/plugins folder if there still is a js_composer folder and remove it, then try the installation again. Disabling and deleting it from the plugins section should remove this folder automatically.
