Hi- I am having trouble getting the Tagdiv Social Counter working for Facebook. I’ve loaded the Facebook ID, the Facebook App ID and the Security Key, but when I try to get the access token, I have an indefinite “Please wait”.
Any ideas?
I am having the same issue, TAGDIV Team, please help.
I had the exact same problem for several days and in the end this is what worked for me…
1. Delete the current version of the social counter plugin completely
2. Put whatever security/firewall plugin you use into learning mode or temporarily disable it
3. Delete all browser cache
4. Download the updated plugin zip mentioned bat Catalin in this related article thread https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/problem-with-facebook-social-counter/
5. Upload/install plugin from WordPress plugin page
6. Activate plugin
7. Add your Facebook ID, App ID and secret from within the Social Counter widget OR Social Counter element in a new page on Visual Composer (both ways worked for me after all the above)
