I have a custom post type called “players”. I’ve copied single_template_8.php and renamed it “single-players.php”
Everything looks good, but my post image doensn’t appear as a background of a post. Instead of it the global one.
With other styles I have no problems with a featured image. Any idea? Thank you!
Hi,
Please provide a link to your website so we can see the issue. You can find more information about the custom post style support here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-post-type-support/
Thanks

Hi,
It seems it would not be easy to get the featured image to display in the background of that particular post template, when using it for a custom post type. The background function is defined in other files of the theme, and would not be possible to achieve easily. If there would be an easy solution I would give it to you, but there is not.
Thanks
Hi,
If you would like to implement something like this and do not have the skills necessary, we recommend hiring a freelancer to help out as we do not have a customization department and we cannot offer any customization services. Like I mentioned before this may not be an easy task. You can hire a freelancer/developer from websites like studio.envato.com
Thank you for your understanding!
