The smart list should display properly if you followed the guide to create it

It does not remove the paragraphs you entered, from the post content. Something else could be interfering with the smart list. I have created a smart list style 2 like you are using and there is no problem with it.
If you could provide a link to your website where the smart list problem is present, we will inspect it.
