CSS suddenly disappears

Hi,

I was working on my website, and everything was great, but suddenly the css went missing from the website.

I compared the sources from Developer Tools > Sources from my website and from the demo website and here is the difference:

The website is smelaunch.com

I am using the Say What? theme and demo on Newspaper.

Also, when i clicked on the css on the first image, its empty, unlike this:

Once I copy this CSS into my website (via Developer Tools), the website is mostly fixed.

I have also deactivated all plugins, to no avail.

Hi,

That is a weird problem. I don’t know how the style file content could simply disappear. I have inspected your website and the theme stylesheet is empty. You could copy the style.css file from the theme package you downloaded, and replace the one in the main theme folder.
Or do a theme re-install using this method

Thanks for the quick response!

It turned out that the css file was not imported correctly the last time. The site was probably mistakenly working due to the css being cached. So when a periodic purge came along, the site “suddenly” stopped working.
