Since a week, I can not saved preferences in control panel in Newspaper. For test…I upgrade WP and for Newspaper 8 but no change, can not saved any way.
I can see this message in the error_log file:

Please try to reinstall the theme using this method

Also deactivate all your plugins except the ones provided in the theme package, and clear any caching installed. Switch to the main theme if you are using a child theme.
Check as well the theme system status and make modifications to the parameters mentioned in this guide, if necessary

I reinstalled the theme using this method and curiously, no change. Also I upgrade for 64 M and have already define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);

I can not saved in control panel. I see that td composer is appeared no compatible with my Visual composer pages. Many things desappeared, images block of text. I am vary dessapointed about this change…td composer versus Visual Composer. I have another site that I just built with 2,450 pages builted in Visual composer…
Do you have another thing that I can do?

Hi,
Please modify all the parameters to have the recommended values. This should solve the saving issue.
In some cases when both Visual composer and tagDiv composer are active, there could be some interference between them. You could disable the tagDiv editor and everything should display like before. If you have that many pages created in Visual composer, you could keep using it further.

Those are the recommended values in order for the theme to work properly in all situations. The guide explains in detail what are the steps to take and which are the files where the changes have to be made. You could ask your hosting provider to do them for you, or help you with this.
I don’t fully understand what you mean by control panel is off. There is only the theme panel, that cannot be turned off.
If you have followed the guide and the theme panel is still not saving your settings, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information, so we can take a look.

I mean that the theme panel can not save the preferences and before the last week it will do that any way all time and with no change in system status who was in miminal setup and worked vary good with no problem.
N.B I have 8 sites (small and big) with the old WP and newspaper 7 and all is good … for the moment!

I contact my server and change all yours recommended values ( all item are in green) in the system status of Newspaper theme and… also
we can not saved preferences in control panel in Newspaper.
